Our Experience with Little Designers
We at MFS, recently had an amazing opportunity to get some little designers onboard for our new collection.
We were overwhelmed by their excitement & enthusiasm about the design process. Every session they were ready to charge at us by firing their question one after the other like some little trained warriors. We had to stay on our toes, meticulously preparing for each session. But honestly It was quite an experience to look at curiosity & exploration thriving. We had no choice but to take a backseat and admire the creativity blooming before our eyes.
Through the course of the last few weeks, we tried to cover topics like
- Ergonomics
- Functionality
- Colour palettes
- Materials
- Through our specially designed tasks & activities. Every session was filled with lots of fun interactions, knowledge sharing, hands on activities & curious questions (of course). Witnessing these little designers at work, we had fallen prey to extending our sessions beyond the stipulated 1 hour every single time. Some parents also funnily told us that ‘they never saw their children this engaged even while watching their favourite cartoons!
When we saw kids holding up their hard earned certificates & MFS badges with proud smiles, it all felt worth it. The process was one of learning and grounding for all of us. All the compliments & satisfaction of parents and content faces of kids feeling proud of their work & learnings has made us forget all the hard work that went into organising & managing the workshop. From curating design toolkits, dispatching them, designing fun activities, collecting completed tasks from kids to last minute running around before the session, all the efforts made sense

Embracing Creativity: A Journey with Young Designers
At MFS, we recently embarked on an inspiring journey by welcoming a group of young designers into our creative process for our upcoming collection. Their boundless enthusiasm and eagerness to learn transformed every session into an adventure of discovery.
From the outset, these young minds greeted us with a barrage of questions, their curiosity akin to seasoned explorers. We found ourselves constantly preparing, ensuring each interaction was as engaging and enriching as possible. Yet, it was immensely fulfilling to witness their creativity blossom before our eyes.

We were truly touched by the dedication and engagement of these budding creators. Some parents humorously remarked that their children had never been so captivated, not even by their favourite cartoons! Seeing the kids proudly display their hard-earned certificates and MFS badges brought immense joy—it made all our efforts worthwhile.
The workshop experience was grounding for all involved, reminding us of the power of collaboration and shared learning. From meticulously curating design toolkits to organising logistics and designing engaging activities, every detail contributed to an unforgettable journey.
